Ephraim & Ranelie | Gunners Barracks
Some celebrations are less about spectacle and more about atmosphere—where every detail quietly contributes to a singular mood.
For Ephraim and Ranelie's wedding at Gunners Barracks, the floral direction centred on richness, texture and sculptural form. The ceremony was framed by sweeping brown velvet drapery, creating a warm, intimate backdrop against which an asymmetrical floral installation unfolded. Papaya grass, rosehip and hydrangeas came together in a composition that felt both wild and composed, balancing softness with architectural movement.
Ranelie's bouquet became a study in contrast. Rich crimson peonies were paired with vibrant chillies, cascading cymbidium orchids and sculptural gum nuts, creating an arrangement that felt expressive, unexpected and deeply seasonal.
Inside the reception, the florals shifted in scale but retained the same sense of intention. Rather than traditional centrepieces, each table was composed as an individual still life—a collection of considered vessels, seasonal botanicals and quiet gestures that invited guests to discover beauty from every angle.
A celebration defined not by excess, but by thoughtful composition, tactile materials and flowers that felt as though they belonged entirely to the moment.
