Jaeyi and Daniel’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Sydney arrived with the first taste of spring — that moment when the air feels lighter, the city softens, and everything begins to bloom again. Their day reflected that quiet shift in season: refined, contemporary, and full of life.

The design was grounded in green and white, a palette chosen for its clarity and freshness. We built the floral story around branches of early blossom and clusters of jonquils, their scent gentle and unmistakably spring. The compositions were sculptural yet restrained — a dialogue between structure and softness, nature and space.

The ceremony was anchored by tall, asymmetric arrangements of blossom branches, their delicate forms reaching upward like the season itself awakening. Paired with tonal foliage and natural textures, the space felt both architectural and organic — a contemporary garden moment suspended within the grand scale of the Hyatt Regency.

For the reception, round tables filled the room, each centred with low, textural arrangements that carried the green-and-white palette into evening. The jonquils glowed softly under candlelight, their simplicity offset by the graphic strength of surrounding foliage. Together, they created an atmosphere that was modern yet warm — more celebration than tradition, more art than ornament.

Jae and Daniel’s wedding was a study in balance: Korean elegance and urban modernity, restraint and joy, stillness and movement. A celebration that felt like spring itself — clean, alive, and beautifully new.
