Sunlit Simplicity: Wedding Florals for Alaska & Philip’s Country Celebration

Set on the lush green grounds of a countryside estate, Alaska and Philip’s wedding was a gentle love letter to nature, light, and understated elegance. The ceremony unfolded beneath the soft arches of an outdoor rotunda — a striking structure framed by rolling hills, native trees, and golden afternoon light.

We let the setting lead the floral story, choosing a palette of crisp whites, fresh greens, and soft yellow to reflect the warmth and vitality of the landscape. The rotunda was adorned with sculptural floral arrangements — garden roses, cosmos, and rambling foliage, styled to feel as though they had grown there naturally.

Alaska’s bouquet echoed the wild landscape — artful, unstructured, and full of movement. It was a loose gathering of seasonal blooms and textured greenery, with delicate yellow accents catching the light. It felt freshly picked, deeply personal, and effortlessly romantic. Philip’s boutonnière mirrored the tones of her bouquet — minimal and grounded in nature.

At the reception, the floral design remained light, textural, and intentional. Arrangements were gathered in the centre of the tables — low, relaxed groupings of florals that encouraged conversation and connection. No heavy formality, just a soft presence of flowers that breathed with the space

This was a celebration where the florals felt true to place — not overly styled, but thoughtfully created to honour the couple, the land, and the moment.

Read the lovely review Aluska left us:

Prospector Studio was the greatest choice for our wedding day. We wanted something classic and simple without looking dull and Geraldine definitely achieved that. She has a lot of talent and a huge passion for what she does.
The journey to the big day was long and sometimes tiring but Geraldine made the flowers process be so gentle and light, she has so much knowledge and creativity and was very open to explain everything to us on the meetings.

🤍 Thank you Geraldine! 🤍
