Tucked beneath the historic arches and sandstone elegance of The Mint in Sydney, Sabine and Joey exchanged vows surrounded by a floral dreamscape that felt both timeless and deeply personal.

From the very beginning, Subin had a clear vision—something romantic and richly textured, with an effortless blend of old-world charm and modern artistry. The palette danced between deep burgundies, soft dusty pinks, and clean whites—each bloom carefully chosen to echo the warmth and intimacy of the day.

At the heart of it all was the ceremony installation—a sculptural, asymmetrical floral piece that framed the couple as they said their vows. It stood as a kind of floral altar, lush and full of movement, set against the sandstone backdrop in a way that felt almost like it had always belonged there. It was dramatic without being loud; tender, yet bold.

Subin’s bridal bouquet was a piece of its own poetry. We designed it as a bespoke cluster of gesture and texture—feathery elements and velvety petals nestled together, unruly in the best way, like it had just been gathered from the world's most beautiful garden at dusk. It mirrored the ceremony flowers but told its own story—one of softness, strength, and romance.

There was a sense throughout the day that time had slowed. The setting sun cast a golden glow over The Mint’s courtyard, catching the edges of petals and silk. Every detail—every candle, every stem—felt curated to honour not just beauty, but emotion.

Working with Sabine and Joey was a true joy, and bringing their floral vision to life in a venue as steeped in history and atmosphere as The Mint was unforgettable.
